Congratulations to Area 6 on the fabulous contest held last weekend! Four quartets and five choruses qualified for International in November. The qualifying quartets are Just Sayin’ (1st), ‘Shop Therapy (2nd), The No Drama Llamas (3rd) and Angel’s Envy. Just Sayin’ was awarded the Best In Show Award, The Astro Notes received the Major Minor and Novice Quartet awards, the Golden Girl Award went to No Drama Llamas and rounding out the honors TOQ received the Heart & Soul Award.
The qualifying choruses are Sisters of Sound (1st), Atlanta Harmony Celebration (2nd), Music City Sound (3), Unaccompanied Minors, and Sunshine Harmony qualified for International! Coastal Voices was awarded the Most Improved Chorus and Sparkle Awards and the Unaccompanied Minor received the Every Voice Matters Award.
